I really enjoyed this course from start to finish. I really appreciated the honest, constructive feedback from Jackie, and she was really quick to respond if I had any queries about anything I wanted to check before submission etc. I think the contextual approach, using my own sessions, was really beneficial, as I could see the impact on my performance as I went along. I think the provided templates were also really useful, as they helped to provide a robust structure to sessions I held, and a were a really useful tool in evaluating my progress.

I think CMIT has a really good approach. I liked my tutor and found her helpful and straightforward. She addressed and did not minimise any of my questions which was appreciated. I really enjoyed doing the course. The tutor feedback challenged me to develop further in my professional practise and I have focused on learning new skills that I fully intend to take forward in my work.

The course manual is clear and easy to understand. I like the way the assignment is broken down in to sections and expected word count for each element is stated.

I have had an interest in coaching for a while and wasn’t sure how to develop this. I am already a member of ILM and came across the ILM Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring qualification on the ILM website and then researched course providers. I found CMIT to be professional, supportive and helpful every time I have had an enquiry and am thrilled to have completed the course – particularly with the challenges that the last 12 months have posed. My tutor (Jackie) has responded quickly and helpfully to any queries I have asked and provided very constructive feedback on assessments. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who is considering a qualification in coaching and mentoring – the course content was comprehensive and easy to follow and the assignments flowed well, building on a good basis of a theory assignment before proceeding to the practical assessments.
